Alaska. A plane crash occurred due to bad weather in Alaska, America. 6 people died in this accident. Among the dead are 5 passengers and 1 pilot. According to the US Coast Guard, a sightseeing plane MH-60 Jayhawk was taking tourists to sightseeing in southern Alaska on Thursday. Then the weather started deteriorating and the plane crashed.
The Coast Guard and Federal Aviation Administration were told that the plane’s emergency status light was activated late at around 11.20 pm. Then the plane crashed in the area of Misty Jodders National Monument near Ketchikan. After the Coast Guard found the wreckage of the plane, two rescuers were flown to the crash site via helicopter, who told that there was no survivor in the accident.
The Coast Guard said that at the time of the accident, there was mist at the spot and light rain was also falling. During this the wind was a bit strong and the visibility was only 2 miles. After the disappearance of the plane, the Alaska State Troopers and the Coast Guard started a search operation together.
The identities of those killed in the plane crash have not been made public yet. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the accident.
