Let us tell you that earlier, the Supreme Court has made it clear in its decision that it is not mandatory for a person to stand at the time of the national anthem being played inside the cinema hall. This incident of not standing during the national anthem happened on 23 October. The incident took place during the screening of Tamil film Asuran at PVR Orion Mall in Bangalore.
During the national anthem in the cinema hall, when some people did not stand up, someone made a video of them and put it on social media. In such a situation, this video became viral. After this, many people including Kannada actor Arun Gowda trolled these people on social media. He called 2 men and 2 women Pakistani terrorists. Accused him of not having even 52 seconds for the country. In the video, a person can be heard saying, ‘You don’t even have 52 seconds for the country. But you have the ability to sit here and watch a film for three hours. Are you a Pakistani terrorist?’
Actor Arun Gowda also targeted these people. He said in the video, ‘Look at these people when the national anthem was played, they did not stand up. Look at their faces. They were telling us that you should file a complaint. In the video, another person can be heard saying that our jawans are fighting in Kashmir and you guys are sitting here. You didn’t even stand for the national anthem. Get out of this place.’
