Kerala: CPM secretary’s son arrested in drugs case, has already been interrogated in Bengaluru case

Binish has been arrested by the ED.

The Enforcement Directorate also questioned Binesh Kodiyeri on Thursday. Even before this, the ED has questioned him twice. In the last meeting, the round of interrogation of Binish lasted for about 6 hours.

New Delhi. Taking major action in the Narcotics case, the ED has arrested Binish Kodiyeri, son of Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, secretary of the Communist Party of India-Marxist, Kerala. This information was given by the officials on Thursday. The ED has questioned Binish thrice in the past as well.

Apart from this, Binish had appeared before the ED for the third time today. The ED had called him for questioning on the allegations of having links with Mohammed Anoop, an accused in the Bangalore drug racket case. In the earlier interrogation, the ED had questioned Binish for about 6 hours due to his financial connection with the accused Anoop.

Muslim League’s Yuva Morcha made allegations
Recently, a drug racket was busted by the Narcotics Control Bureau in Bangalore. Earlier, the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) had alleged that Binish had links with some members of a drug racket. Youth League general secretary PK Firos had alleged that Binish had invested money in Anoop’s hotel started in 2015. He has demanded an inquiry in this matter.
