New York. These days vigilance has increased all over the world regarding corona virus infection. Every country is implementing new rules here. Meanwhile, New York announced on Tuesday that employees and customers would need to be vaccinated for indoor dining or for restaurants, fitness and entertainment facilities as cases of the delta variant of the coronavirus rose rapidly. Proof of this also has to be shown.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the new policy. This will be implemented in the coming weeks. The New York City administration is discussing this with the business community and getting information. The final details of the policy will be announced after about two weeks.
Mayer said the ‘Key to New York Pass’ would be a one-of-a-kind initiative in the country that would require employees and customers to have at least one dose of the vaccine for indoor dining, indoor fitness and entertainment facilities. He said that ‘Key to New York City’ means that those who have been vaccinated will be able to take advantage of all the facilities available in the city.
In New York, about 60 percent of people have had at least one dose of the corona virus vaccine, but there are some areas where the rate of vaccination is low. It is believed that this new policy can be effective from September 13.
To encourage New Yorkers to get the Kovid-19 vaccine, the city body recently announced that those vaccinated at its vaccine centers will receive $100, and so far more than 11,000 residents have received this incentive.
