Ayushman Bharat scheme will start from Jharkhand on September 23, crores will be benefited

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is soon going to implement a big health scheme for the countrymen. Central government’s ambitious plan Ayushman Bharat- National Health Protection Mission PM Modi will launch it from Jharkhand. For this, the date of 23 September has been fixed. Union Health Minister JP Nadda gave this information.

On the occasion of flagging off battery operated bus service from AIIMS in the capital Delhi JP Nadda told about the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He said that whatever budget is required for this program, the government will allocate it. The government is committed to provide affordable healthcare to the people.

Ayushman Bharat scheme is being touted as the world’s largest healthcare scheme. Under this scheme, a coverage of Rs 5 lakh per family will be given in a year. Under this scheme 10 crore poor families will be benefitted.

The announcement was made in the general budget

The Central Government had announced the launch of ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’ in the General Budget for the financial year 2018-19. Under this scheme, health facilities will be provided to the people of the country. Under this National Health Protection Scheme, a health insurance cover of up to Rs 5 lakh each will be provided for treatment to 10 crore poor families per year.

Let us tell you that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, Jan Arogya Abhiyan will be started. The first phase has already started. Under this, health centers have been opened.
